Half-plate ambrotype, mat stamped Rehn, Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, with an 1854 patent. At one time this image was accompanied by a handwritten that read, "The Bandit & The Stripling" (See listing pic #2). Unfortunately the note was note longer in the case when I received it, and the previous owner was unable located, so it is not included - listing pic #2 showing the note is provided for reference only.
The ambrotype is in excellent condition the case is in very good antique condition, intact with light wear.
