Original tintype of a shoe worker in his studio. Some original hand-tinting remaining. Dimensions are about 3.5” x 2.5”.

He is not identified on this image, but based on other photos in the album I took this from, I believe he was Jacob E. Kissinger (1843-1921) of Lykens, Pennsylvania. In the 1870 census he was listed as an apprentice shoe maker. Kissinger was also a veteran of the Civil War.

Very good antique condition overall with a couple of scratches and light bends in the lower-left corner, the rest of the image is excellent.

Boxed shipping.
