Quarter-plate daguerreotype of a Crimean War era French officer, probably infantry. In its original 6” x 5” wall frame. There is writing on the back, a possible ID, but I can’t really read it.
Overall in VG antique condition.. when moving the dag around I can see a couple of very short touch swipes, but these do not jump out.
