Sixth-plate, 1850s daguerreotype in half of a case, identified as Wesley F. Burdick of Mt. Morris, New York. I'm pretty sure this was Frederick Wesley Burdick (1830-1913) who lived in both New York and Michigan and went by Wesley F. Burdick in census records. In one census his occupation is a stage driver.
Dag is unsealed in very good antique condition with light haze and tarnish.
