Sixth-plate late-1850s daguerreotype in half of a case. Based on ID'd photos picked up with this image, he was probably a member of the Slocum / Pitkin family of New York State and Pennsylvania.
Inside of the case is the photographer's ID, P. Hunt of Brownsville, PA.
Dag is unsealed in very good antique condition.
