Sixth-plate daguerreotype of a little boy not identified here, but identified on other photos in the same collection as Lawrence Buckley Thomas (born 1848, Baltimore), who later became a Reverend.
Lawrence's grandfather was the politician John Chew Thomas, who served as a Federalist member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Maryland's 2nd congressional district from 1799 to 1801.
Mat stamped LAWRENCE, bottom-left corner. I believe this was Martin M. Lawrence,152 Broadway, New York City.
Dag is sealed and in excellent condition, case is intact and in excellent condition.
