6th plate daguerreotype of John Madison Taylor (Dec 16,1851 July 15, 1891). who was born in Appling County, Georgia, lived his entire life there, and is buried in the Methodist cemetery there.
Identified by a note inside of the case, behind the dag. I put the note back where I found it.
Dag is unsealed with tarnish but in VG antique condition. Case is complete with repaired spine.
