Lot of three circa 1847 daguerreotypes of a man and his two daughters. They were probably all taken in the same sitting. The older girl really resembles the father.. the younger girl not so much, possibly took after her mother, who is obviously not part of this set - I can't help wondering if the reason is because she was no longer alive at the time.
The little girls portraits are 1/6 plates and the father is a 1/4 plate daguerreotype. All three are in VG or better antique condition. The father's dag is sealed, the girls' seals are in the cases but no longer intact.
