Sixth-plate daguerreotype of a woman with bottle curls who is holding a handkerchief. Earlier dag.. maybe 1844-1846. Housed in a full geometric case - original seals intact!
Case has wear to the leather and separated covers. Covers are slightly warped. The underside of the dag's glass is dirty, however, I don't see any damage to the plate. Scattered small spots of tarnish.
