Great original tintype of a doll, photographed by herself in a fringed posing chair. On the bottom in pencil is written her name, "Goldie", followed by "Got her in 1890".
This 3.5" by approximately 2.25" tintype is in its original 5" x 3.25" paper sleeve. The cover of the sleeve, which is detached, has the imprint of Newark, NJ photographer R.H. Green.
Tintype has several light bends and a discoloration in the upper-right corner, which might have always been there.. if not, it might be cleanable but I have not tried to clean it.
