Original CDV of a little girl on a settee. Photographed by B.F. Childs, Wilmington, Vermont. On the back in period pencil is her name, "Minnie". This was possibly Minnie Burns, who died at about 3 years old from "canker rash"... under magnification there does appear to be something wrong with her upper lip and mouth.
