1850s, sixth-plate daguerreotype of an older man by the photographer William Abbott Pratt, who was famously
known for having photographed writer Edgar Allan Poe in his Richmond studio. This man is not identified.
Dag is very nice in hand. It has been resealed with archival tape, with all of the original seals placed back inside of the casee. It's in its original leather case which is in overall very good antique condition though the covers are separated along the spine.
Condition notes: Overall very good antique condition with a few small mat abrasions.
