Sixth-plate ambrotype (clear glass with black backing plate inside case) of a nice looking young couple... looks like a wedding day photo. I believe that’s a light reflecting screen or light from a window partially visible on the left...
Very good antique condition behind mat and cover glass, in half is its original case. I think I see a couple of small mat abrasions but I didn’t notice them until I looked at these zoomed in shots, so they just not be glaringly obvious when viewing the image in hand. One corner of the preserver is broken but you won’t know it unless you remove the ambro from the case.
**To reduce reflections I took most of my photos using my phone’s flash. This image looks very nice when viewed in daylight.
