Two 1/6 ambrotypes, the first showing a man and his family, the second showing the same little boy happily posing with what looks like his scooter... he is wearing the same clothes so it was probably taken in the same sitting, by the studio Beard & Foard, which is stamped on the cover of the family ambrotype. A great pair of images that have managed to stay together for many years. Both the ambrotypes and the cases are in very good or excellent antique condition.
