6th plate daguerreotype of a painted portrait of a man with a slightly wonky eye and dimpled chin wearing a military style jacket.
Seals appear old if not original and seem to be intact, however under magnification I did
spot one or two tiny mat abrasions. I see some tiny specks on the plate, and some of the spots are on the underside of the glass, but no serious damage.
Housed in a full, double clasp VG case, intact with no repairs.
