Sixth-plate tintype behind mat and cover glass, in full case. At first I thought he might have been a sailor, but another collector messaged and said they strongly believed he was a miner.
Tintype is in very good antique condition. When I opened it up to clean the underside of the glass I noticed it was a thick iron plate with something stamped along the bottom edge.. which I didn't examine closely but I assume it was Neff's Patent. Case covers are separated along the spine.
Shipping: Choice of well-packed First Class mailer or boxed Priority Mail.
