Quarter-plate, ruby ambrotype of a Civil War musician standing with a large, over the shoulder saxhorn. Housed in original thermoplastic case with patriotic symbolism on the covers. Inside of the case the soldier is identified in period pencil.
Condition notes: The ambrotype is in overall very good antique condition with some light spotting, mainly visible under magnification. One corner of the preserver is broken but it all stays together when inside of the case. The case has some small chips, edge, corner nicks. If you have any questions at all, please ask before committing to purchase.
Boxed & signed Priority Mail, well-packed.
