Quarter-plate, circa 1855 daguerreotype of five well-dressed men, the men in the upper-left and bottom-center identified as Charles Foote Breckenridge and his cousin Willis Holcom. Both men were lawyers, so I am making the assumption that all the men were lawyers, possibly working together in a small law firm. The note is included.
The dag is in excellent antique condition with a tarnish ring. Underside of the glass is a bit dirty but the dag still has its original seals in place. The case is damaged with separated, matching covers.
