1/4 daguerreotype of a young couple, she has long ringlet curls and is wearing eyeglasses, he is wearing a suit and has a chin beard. Looks like the seals have never been opened; the underside of the glass could use a good cleaning but looking close under magnification I do not see any damage to the plate.. all of the spots appear to be on the underside of the glass. The case is complete with matching covers, separated along the spine.
