Original 1850s half-plate daguerreotype portrait of a pleasant looking woman wearing a paisley shawl, jewelry, lace gloves. Very good antique condition overall. Small tarnish ring and light tarnish on the plate, plus tarnish halos around her gold jewelry... Plate is clear and clean otherwise, with no scratches, swipes, dings or abrasions, noted. Resealed with archival tape.
