1/6 c.1860 ruby ambrotype of two sisters, identified inside of the case. The girls were Jane Elisabeth Slocum Rogers (1834-1912) and her sister Mary Eleanor Slocum (1838-1869). They lived in Brownsville, PA at the time this photo was taken. This might be a photographer's copy c.1850 daguerreotype because the girls look to be around 9-13 years old or so to me.

Ambrotype is in full case and in very good antique condition. The spine of the case is still intact but splitting.
