Original mid-1860s stereoview photograph of the full moon! This is a nice example, both in subject matter and condition. In addition, it was produced by the photographer G.W. Thorne, whose blindstamp is on the mount along the left edge of the mount. The majority of moon stereos from this time were produced by much larger firms.
Image is nice, sharp, clean and clear. One continuous image on the mount, not two.
7" x 3.5". Very good antique condition with some light edge/corner wear. The back is blank.
