Stereoview showing a family campsite scene - "Camp Phunny" according to the sign. The man might be playing a music instrument, like a mandolin, and is that a tall fishing pole the boy is holding? On the left it looks like part of a broadside advertisement is visible, with a date of '77.
This is not a commercially produced stereo, so not many were made and probably only a handful still exist. This is the only one I have ever seen.
Based on other photos I picked up with this, I'm pretty sure these are members of the Reuben Wood family and the location is somewhere in the Adirondack Mountains. Wood was a famous fisherman, and the Adirondack connection checks out.. found an article about him (photo #2 - provided for reference, hard copy not included). So the man could possibly be Reuben himself, or one of his sons.
The back of this approximately 7" x 3.5" stereo is blank (light lavender, clean and undamaged). Overall condition is excellent antique.
