Original tissue stereoview photo showing God (or some Saint!) judging skeletal souls in Purgatory.. one of the skeletons is even in a cage!
Original 1860s, early 1870s stereoview, manufactured in France. When viewed through a backlit light source, it's not only in 3D but the original hand tinted colors are seen (see photo 2).
Stereo is in very good or better antique condition overall with light wear, but no tears in the delicate paper. About 7" x 3.5".
