Original CDV of Jacob (Joseph) Grubb Skinner. Taken by W.H. Rulofson, Sonora, California, with ID on front and back, along with additional family info.

Skinner was a miner and carpenter in a California mining camp in Tuolumne, California (post office Jacksonville, which matches the info on the front of the CDV) In the 1866 census he was listed as a carpenter in Stevens' Bar (probably The Madelon gold mine)  in Tuolumne Co. His info on Ancestry says he was born in 1825 and died in an 1893 prairie fire.

CDV is 4" x 2.5".
