Rare original tintype of men and boys standing on Loew Bridge, named after city politico Charles Loew. The bridge stood in New York City at Broadway and Fulton Streets.. it was built in 1866 and only stood until 1868. Look close on the left side of image, bottom half of the bridge, and you will see the construction date 1866 (in reverse). Dimensions are about 5 1/4" x 4". Some bends and surface wear, and the nail hole at the top.
