Original, late-1850s, circa 1860 ambrotype of a good dog, posed by itself in front of a plain backdrop. Slight head movement, but overall a clear image. This is a clear glass ambrotype with the back of glass painted black.. it's behind its original mat and glass, and comes in a full case.
Ambro is in very good antique condition as shown. The case covers match though they are separated along the spine, and there is some wear to the cover paper. Looks nice when viewed in proper light / daylight.
