1/4 daguerreotype of a pretty woman, seated next to a small table with a tinted blue tablecloth, and in front of a painted column and lake scene backdrop. She is not identified, but based on other photos out of the same estate, I believe she was a member of the Rathbun family of Illinois, and very possibly Sarah Rathbun (1821-1907), the wife of Philander.

Dag is still sealed and is in excellent condition with tarnish ring. It's in half of its original case.
