Large ambrotype siblings, the girls, maybe even the boys, could be twins. This is a 3/4 plate ambro and the case is 7” by 5 1/4” when closed. Ambro is behind mat and cover glass with a piece of black velvet in the case behind the image. Some mat abrasions as shown, otherwise in VG antique condition. The rare case is in very nice condition overall, intact and complete with no repairs; one small area of leather loss on the spine. Boxed Priority Mail. |
