Original, late-1850s, circa 1860 ruby ambrotype of man holding an uncooperative dog in his lap. Ambro is behind mat and cover glass in half of a case. There looks like there are some nicks and small scratches throughout on the image, mostly in the background, otherwise VG antique condition.
