Quarter-plate ambrotype. Unknown location.. sawhorses out front and men on the porch. This is a clear glass ambrotype with black velvet in the case to bring the image out.
Condition is very good overall with some crazing in the emulsion, which is otherwise fine. Case covers are separated. I took pictures both in daylight and with flash to try to show more detail
