Four completely packed boxes of antique, 1860s and slightly later photo albums with hundreds, likely thousands of original tintypes and CDVs included. These are mostly the smaller (approximately 6" x 5" x 2" closed) size albums, some are a bit larger, some are smaller, and most are leather.
I counted 116 albums. Some are more full than others but none are empty.
I didn’t have time to count the total number of photos but even if you average 25 photos per album that’s 2950 photos.. I think a fair range if we had to estimate is 2500-3500 total photos. There's nothing tricky.. you're not going to get 2000 snapshots, or reprints, or fakes.. there maybe a few random non-CDV, non-tintype formats, as you would expect in this number of albums, but I'd bet 99.9%+ are original, 19th century CDVs and tintypes. These albums were all purchased by myself one at a time over the past 20+ years.
Condition of the albums as expected, from poor to excellent and in between. Photos as a whole are very good or better, I would say. They aren't junk.
These are decent, or pretty nice albums... I planned to sell them individually but I am moving out of state and just can't take them with me... so I just want to see if some collector or dealer is interested in ALL of them. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions.
Boxed, insured, well-packaged. Not sure of the shipping method, NOT Media Mail! They will either ship USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Give me a few days after payment to pack them up
