Lot of ELEVEN photos showing scenes of the crash of the U.S. Shenandoah and aftermath, including rows of victims' coffins.

The Shenandoah was a Navy airship that was torn apart in a storm on September 3, 1925,
crashing outside of Caldwell, Ohio, killing fourteen crew members.

The photos offered here appear to be photos of photos... a quick and easy way to make duplicates back in the day. They are undated, but after examining them closely under magnification and taking into account the aging and soiling, I'm confident they are vintage and almost surely from the period of the crash (1920s-1930s), and not modern day reprints. They are on medium weight semigloss paper with no imprints or watermarks of any kind. Most measure about 5.25" x 3.5".

Please ask before purchasing if you have any questions. Thanks!
