Daguerreotype of a woman seated at a small table, she's wearing black (jet or vulcanite?) bracelets on both wrists and is holding a small pink flower. I have provided a scan and a quick cell phone shot, taken with flash on, to help show more detail.
Housed in leather case that is 3 3/4" x 3 1/4" when closed. Original seals are still intact. Plate has some light tarnish, but is otherwise in excellent undamaged condition. Case is in excellent antique condition with no repairs, and both clasps present.
