1860s leather and brass photo album.. dark leather covers with 8 black ball feet on the covers.
26 original photos and a lithographic card included. 24 double-sided pages, so not all slots have a photo. The album has both of its clasps and is in overall good antique condition. Most of the interior pages are nice, a couple have insertion tears, one is missing a small piece of the page. Album is about 5" x 3.5" x 1" when closed.
Photos are from Massachusetts and Michigan. There are several ID'd people, some names written on the pages and some on the backs of their photos, including members of the Packard family.. some of the CDVs have photographer imprints of Packard, so I am wondering if they are the photographer's family members, and a possibly a CDV of the photographer Packard himself.
