Two rare, original CDVs, circa 1863, of Central American Indian people, the first a family group who appear to be making and selling bread, the second a woman selling fish... both were probably taken at the Masaya Market in Nicaragua.

Taken by the German photographer Emil Herbruger, who was active in Panama, Nicaragua and Guatemala during the Civil War era and after.
4" x 2.5" each, in very good antique condition overall with light corner/edge wear.
